1. Players
To make things easier for the adventure-master, it is recommended that you format your post as follows:
(Roleplaying in-character text describing an action)
[hr]
(Specific action)
The specific action should include the following:
- Action taken - in as much detail as possible. (e.g. attack the bandit in the red coat.) - Tool/weapon used. (e.g. normal iron shortsword) - Choice to dodge or block (if in combat).
For example:
Bluestorm whirled to face the scarred bandit, and they watched each other, circling. In a sudden burst of explosive motion, Bluestorm lunged forward with his sword, keeping his shield up to deflect incoming blows.
Attack the scarred bandit with normal iron shortsword - block.
2. Adventure Masters
How you choose to format your posts as an adventure-master is up to you, and if you like you may ask players to use a different format to the one above. Your job as an adventure master is to make all the rolls and resolve all actions of players and npcs according to the rules of Eldyr - but you may bend these as you wish.
